Code of Conduct
The Code of Ethics sets out the commitments and responsibilities for the ethical conduct of the company’s business and operations accepted by members of the HIAB ITALIA SRL organisation, including both directors and employees. It is based on the principles of the Code of Conduct of the Parent Company Cargotec, the contents of which it incorporates in full.

Modello 231 [applies to Italy]
Nel rispetto degli impegni dichiarati e assunti con il Codice Etico nei confronti degli stakeholder, Hiab Italia Srl ha adottato il Modello di Organizzazione e di Gestione previsto dal Decreto Legislativo 8 giugno 2001, n. 231, che ha introdotto un regime di responsabilità amministrativa a carico delle società per alcune tipologie di reati.
Hiab Italia Srl si è dotata del Modello di Organizzazione e di Gestione con l’obiettivo di assicurare condizioni di correttezza e di trasparenza nella conduzione delle attività aziendali, a tutela della posizione e dell’immagine propria, delle aspettative dei propri soci e del lavoro dei propri dipendenti.

Ogni violazione o sospetto di violazione del Modello 231/01 e/o ogni altra informazione attinente all’attua-zione del Modello può essere segnalata all’ Organismo di Vigilanza di Hiab Italia Srl (vedi Whistleblowing).
Whistleblowing
Interested parties (so-called stakeholders) of Hiab Italia Srl can report any violation or suspected violation of Model 231/2001 (see Organizational Model 231 and Code of Ethics) and/or any other information relating to the implementation of the Model to the Supervisory Body. Supervision of Hiab Italia Srl.
The confidentiality of the identity of the whistleblower is ensured, without prejudice to legal obligations, in order to guarantee whistleblowers against any form of retaliation understood as an act that could give rise to even the mere suspicion of being a form of discrimination or penalisation.

Gift policy
During the conduct of the company’s business, all members of the Hiab Italia Srl organisation undertake to operate in compliance with the principles set out in the Code of Ethics and the Parent Company’s specific policy on this subject.
In particular, all those operating in the interest, in the name or on the behalf of Hiab Italia Srl are forbidden, even indirectly, to accept, offer or promise unearned money, gifts, goods, services, benefits or favours (also in terms of employment opportunities) in relationships with public officials, public service staff or private entities, which may even only be interpreted as exceeding normal business practice or courtesy, or as being in any way intended to obtain favourable treatment in the conduct of any activity which may be connected to Hiab Italia Srl.
Members of the Hiab Italia Srl organisation who receive gifts or benefits which do not comply with the permitted categories are obliged to use the set procedures to report the occurrence to the Hiab Italia Srl Supervisory Body, which will assess their appropriateness.
